In efforts to super nerd-out, I go through a 3-step process in creating my Pre-Season College Football Rankings and Projections. I am now through Step 1.

• Step 1 = Balanced performance per position group per team ranked out

• Step 2 = Game by Game forecasting on how I think teams will do

• Step 3 = Based off of Power Rankings by Position Group used to help predict records, I develop a Strength of Schedule.

All 3 of these factors are then combined and that gives me my initial rankings.

MINDFRAME TAKES STEPHEN FOSTER 🏇 

One million dollars and an automatic qualification to the Breeder’s Cup Classic. That’s what Mindframe accomplished Saturday evening. Todd Pletcher’s horse closed at 7/2 odds, moving him to 3-0 in three races for the 2025 calendar year.

At the Fleur de Lis, Thorpedo Anna regained her winning ways, qualifying for the Breeder’s Cup Distaff and the claimed $500,000 winning prize.

MIDDLE-AGED NEWNAN, GA MAN LIVES OUT LIFELONG DREAM OF BECOMING AN HONORARY FIREMAN 🧑‍🚒 🔥 

Saturday morning a local resident from Newnan, GA got to live out his lifelong dream of becoming an honorary fireman. In this unplanned, surprise event, thanks to a fully cut gas line, the trucks came in hot with sirens blaring and lights on - full lifeguard pursuit mode. The honored guest got to learn all about the automated water cannons now used and how the operation system of the rescue ladder is operated. And, throw in seeing first hand how the drone copters are used. Rumor mill has it, that his kids slept through the entire experience. When asked, local HOA Representative, Karen, said, “well, I’m not thrilled about it, that’s for sure.”
